Senior Ballet Class Teacher
Due to the popularity of my RAD Silver Swans class, I’m expanding and looking for a talented teacher to lead a new class for our enthusiastic dancers over 55s. My current Silver Swans class is on Tuesdays, but my students are keen to dance twice a week. Therefore, they’ve requested another class from me. While I would love to take on the additional class myself, I am currently at full capacity. Therefore, I am seeking an experienced ballet teacher who is passionate, kind, and dedicated to accommodating the unique needs of my senior dancers
The new class is tentatively scheduled for Thursday 1-2pm in Point Chevalier.
Qualities I’m looking for include but are not limited to:
-Passion for teaching and a willingness to adapt teaching methods to suit adult learners, particularly seniors
-Openness to learning new approaches and receiving guidance from me
Experience I’m looking for include but are not limited to:
-Experience in ballet training up to intermediate level or higher
-Bonus if you’re a RAD Silver Swans licensee teacher
-While prior experience in teaching senior dancers/adults is advantageous, it’s not a requirement – I’m committed to supporting the professional development of new teachers. I’ll provide necessary training and mentorship to help you succeed in this role. If you wish, you can attend my Silver Swans classes first and then gradually take on more responsibility within the classroom.
